Metrology Engineer

G2 Metric Ltd are pleased to have a vacancy for a Metrology Engineer to help support our current activities and clients.

Description

The role will be a very diverse opportunity supporting the current Metrology team.
This is a demanding but exciting role for the appropriately skilled person.

Location
Preferably being based in the NE would be desirable but not essential.

Key Accountabilities

• Supporting customer requests.
• Spatial Analyzer software experience.
• Use of portable measurement Equipment e.g. Laser Trackers.
• Supporting Product Installations.
• Project management.

Candidate Profile

This position requires a motivated, proactive candidate. The successful applicant will need to manage their time, meet project targets and work under their own initiative without being micro managed.

The role is mainly client facing and the candidate will be expected to be able to deal with customers at all levels within organisations with the ability to clearly communicate and deliver project and contract objectives.

Appropriate training will be given depending on the experience of the candidate.

• Use of PC tools (Microsoft Office Suite)

Remuneration

Negotiable based on experience.
