The kanmor tN4 integrated system combines the very best of both Water Temperature Control and Air Temperature Control.

With a communication BUS wired connection the information of Air Temperature in each zone is communicated to the Water Temperature Controller which incorporates Weather Compensation as a standard feature. The water temperature is changed to suit the outdoor temperature prevailing and associated building heat loss, whilst also taking into account the zone temperature and its progress in achieving target temperature. Also included in the control strategy is Optimisation through the individual Room Controllers, Boiler Sequencing Control and additional consideration of the Domestic Hot Water regeneration. In providing a fully integrated Water & air Temperature Control Package comfort conditions are improved immensely with associated fuel saving typically in the region of 15-30%.

Weather Compensation should provide the basis of Water Temperature Control in all systems above 35Kw. By having the ability to measure the outdoor temperature and re-calculating the water temperature requirement will result in better regulated heat output from the system Heat Emitters. Having the ability to match the prevailing heat loss in a more accurate manner will have a direct impact on fuel usage and typically a system with Weather Compensation can expect to achieve fuel savings of around 15%. Water Temperature Controller also incorporate Boiler Sequence Control, Lead Lag Boiler Rotation and Domestic Hot water Control with Setpoint Control. Mixing valves and Actuators complete the packages with valve sizes from 20mm to 50mm with both 24Vac and 230Vac valve actuators.

Accurate Air Temperature Control is the major factor in achieving the required room temperature conditions. There are various types of thermostat available to suit all needs. The Electronic Thermostats with fully programmable display functionality provide both time and air temperature control. The units with Pulse Width Modulation are the most accurate with the ability to match the target room temperature by electronically cycling the thermostat to achieve very accurate control. Also available as a display unit only, both types of product also have remote air and floor sensing capability. Kanmor 506x, 510e and 512e provide the best options for Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control. This 24Vac range can accept kanmor remote air sensors 076e and discreet air sensor 084e.On/Off dial thermostats offer a cost effective solution to many applications by utilizing an on/off switching differential to provide room air temperature control. Thermostats with a 230Vac supply are also available in Programmable Thermostat, non Programmable Thermostat and Dial Thermostat options.

Zone Control packs provide an ideal solution to multi zone applications where sets of 22mm and 28mm Zone valves are required with associated Room Thermostats and Pipe Thermostats. Larger zones can be catered for with bespoke packs to suit. Towel Rail Packs are also available with return water temperature control providing the basis of the control set and supplied with associated components. Valve control packs can be made available for either two port zone valves or three port diverting valves. Please specify at time of order.

A complete range of switches and switchgear is available to suit all applications. Timeswitches and Programmers are available in single channel, two channel, three channel and four channel options. Supplied with ‘volt free’ contacts the units provide flexibility and full functionality to all heating applications. Flow switches are available for water and air applications with level switches for tank water volume control. Pressure switches for water, gas and air applications complement the differential pressure water temperature control. For more specialised applications Humidity and Dew Point switching can be provided. With a large range of Switching Relays and Contactors available, all applications can be designed and applied to match system requirements.
