Orchard Hire and Sales is a stockist of
scaffolding, access and building equipment supplying the following range of
products to both trade and private customers:
Scaffolding Tube
New galvanised scaffolding tube comes in standard lengths of 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.4m,
3.0m, 4.0m, 5.0m and 6.4m. New aluminium scaffold tube is also available in 6.0m
lengths. Both types of scaffolding tube can be cut to a specified length on
special written request. Tubes can be supplied bundled or loose, and can also be
supplied in a stillage for easier handling by forklifts.
Scaffold Boards
New end-banded scaffold boards made from untreated European white-wood. They are
available in 2.4m, 3.0m and 3.9m lengths.
Scaffold Fittings
Zinc plated drop forged and chromate passivated pressed steel scaffold fittings.
All are to the EN74 standard or BS1139 standard where applicable.
Cuplok Compatible System Scaffolding
Orchard Hire and Sales sell components which are fully compatible with SGB
Cuplok ®. Cuplok is a popular system of scaffolding which is quicker and simpler
to erect than traditional scaffolding.
Scaffolding Towers Kliktower ®
Light-weight mobile aluminium ladder frame towers on castors. A sturdy and safe
means of accessing internal walls and ceilings or the external face of a
building up to the roof-line.
Staging Boards
Aluminium walkway and handrail system with a non-slip underside and hard-board
surface in lengths of 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m, 5.4m, 6.0m, 6.6m, 7.2m and
widths of 450mm or 600mm.
Ladders
Industrial ladders of all kinds in timber, aluminium, painted steel or
galvanised steel.
Adjustable Steel Props and Strongboys
For supporting vertical loads, typically for use in masonry support.
Trestles
A simple adjustable height base to create a low level working platform, four
scaffold boards wide.
Temporary Roofing Equipment
Aluminium lattice beams and corrugated steel or fibreglass sheets to fit a flat
or pitched roof to a scaffold.
Temporary Barriers
Wire mesh fence panels for temporarily limiting access to work areas on building
sites. Also corrugated steel hoarding panels for creating site compounds.
Site Safety Equipment
Ladder gates, rubbish chutes, flashing lamps, foam padding, hazard warning
