We undertake mezzanine floor projects throughout the UK and in Europe from our base in Warlingham, Surrey, just south of London. Established in 1989, we offer our clients integrity, flexibility, responsiveness, personal service and a sound financial base.

We offer bespoke and modular mezzanine flooring for commercial, retail, warehouse, production, industrial and storage use. Our mezzanine floor system can also be used to create a maintenance or access platform or a raised storage area. We also undertake refurbishment, alteration, extension or addition to existing mezzanine floors. Our mezzanine flooring is guaranteed for 25 years subject to use within its design parameters.

Our mezzanines comprise main and secondary beams or purlins supported by columns on base plates, suitably braced and secured by recessed floor fixings. A suitable working surface is created using 38mm P6 particle board, plywood, steel chequer plate, steel mesh or fibreglass mesh decking.

Mezzanine floors require local authority (or approved inspector) approval, and we prepare drawings and structural calculations for building regulations applications and liaise with statutory bodies on our clients behalf to ensure approval is obtained.

We will advise our clients what additional work is required to comply with building regulations. Mostly we undertake fire protection of your mezzanine flooring using column casings, suspended ceiling, bulkhead or fascia and cavity barrier where necessary.

Fire protection can also be achieved using plasterboard MF ceiling and intumescent paint where desired.

Emergency lighting, exit signs and fire detection and alarm systems may also be necessary, but will be project specific, and we would be pleased to guide you.

Your mezzanine may need part K or part M staircases, landings, handrail and kick plate. We can also offer a wide range of choices of detailing and further accessories such as round columns, chamfered base plates, feature handrails, circular base plates and feature staircases with stainless steel and glass hand railing.

Mezzanine goods lifts and pallet safety gates can be integrated into our design with associated trimmed lift voids and wear plates. Service risers and ventilation duct penetrations can be accommodated by trimmed service duct apertures.

Spiral staircases and external galvanised fire escape stairs are popular for spatial and aesthetic reasons and occasionally catladders and ships ladders can be appropriate for access.
