B Danby & Co Limited, one of the longest established independent builders companies in the North of England, was founded in 1891 by West Riding businessman Benjamin Danby. The main products for sale included gas lamps, copper kettles, plumbers brass taps and fittings at Trippett street and Charlotte street in Hull.
