Clients
Below is a small selection of the
businesses and organisations that benefit from an IDS
document and/or mailing solution:
Case Studies
Case Study 1
Mailing up to 40,000 commercial letters a day, one of the leading
banks wanted to reduce their postage overheads by taking advantage
of a Royal Mail discount service. IDS integrated a mailing solution
that not only enabled them to save over £700 a day but also helped
to maximise the efficiency of their document production.
Case Study 2
A well known financial services company used IDS to implement a
solution that composed XML data into customer-facing letters, before
archiving then posting them using a hybrid mailing system called
imail (see Case Study 4 below). The solution reduced the reliance on
expensive in-house printing and post room processes and continues to
save the company considerable amounts of money each day.
Case Study 3
One of the largest UK dept recovery companies use an IDS solution to
produce and manage over 70,000 documents each day. Components of the
solution include host to printer connectivity, data processing,
document composition and address cleansing all of which continue to
be supported and annually reviewed by IDS to ensure resilience and
maximise cost savings.
Case Study 4
Mail and parcel logistics company UK Mail wanted to offer customers
a hybrid mailing system. IDS developed and continue to manage a
web-based solution called imail that enables users to reduce their
mailing overheads by up to 60% and post UK-destined mail from the
convenience of their computer. imail is extremely successful and is
used by many organisations including The Carphone Warehouse, British
Dental Association and RBS.
