​Ingenious ways to recycle old business cards

It can be exciting getting some freshly printed business cards through the door, but it leaves us with a problem. What to do with the old business cards?

Bookmarks

If you’re anything like us you like to find another way to use these old cards instead of binning them when you have used your hard earned cash to buy them. Yes these can be recycled but here are some interesting ways to use them. Bookmarks Are you reading any books, wanting to keep the page where your favourite recipe is or doing some research? Turn your old business card into a handy bookmark. (Remember we also sell bookmarks too!)

Create New artistic business cards

If you are the crafty type why not paint over your old card to create a blank canvas then hand draw or paint your info onto each card. This is handy if you have a few left and are waiting on new ones, or we have some more great ideas below that you can do this for.

Labels and Tags

Old business cards are a perfect way to keep your office organised. If you have a blank back you can simply write on the space and attach them to your filing cabinets, folders or documents. Not blank on the back? No problem, just paint over each business card before writing on them. You could also use chalk board paint which you can get at most DIY shops. Paint over and write on with chalk. Just make sure you let them dry before writing on them with chalk.

Gift Tags

Those who fancy getting crafty during birthdays and Christmas will thoroughly enjoy making gift tags out of old business cards. Cover them in paint so that the business card can’t be seen, then decorate. Simply punch a hole in the corner and get some pretty string or ribbon, so you can attach them to your presents.
