ECO Hydraulic Presses Ltd News and PR from ECO Hydraulic Presses Ltd - Published 04 February 2021 Formed in September 2008 primarily to develop more specialised hydraulic presses in particular Hot Metal Gas forming of Aluminium and Titanium materials to form complex forms.
New products included Mixers for Tungsten and Ceramic powders, Extruders for forming complex extruded shapes high value products

Took over the assets of a competitor 1993 BMP.

Company taken into private ownership 1981 still manufacturing standard & special purpose presses along with other special machines. Trading as Edbro Machine Tools (EMT) Ltd.

Company moved from Bolton to West Bromwich and subsequently Burntwood where we are still today.

Company taken over completely by Edbro Holdings in the 1970’s

Pilot Works taken over by B & E Tippers in 1965 by Edbro

First Hydraulic Presses built 1939 the whole press was totally manufactured in house by Pilot the only bought in items were the Electric Motor, Starter and Pressure Gauge.

Hydraulic pumps valves and cylinders are still produce some 80 years later to maintain older machines.
