Halkin Arcade is a secluded courtyard, shared by residents and restaurant patrons, located on top of an underground car park, so the project required a mix of custom seating, vent covers and canopy supports (outside the retail locations)

Woodscape were chosen for this project because of our unique experience specifically in the style of custom seating, where a unique solution was developed, and custom made in a variety of sizes and radii.

The custom seating slopes and curves in several axis at once, and the interface between the hardwood and granite base had to be perfect.

Due to the complexity, each seating slat was individually computer modelled and produced on a CNC, and Woodscape worked with the contractor on the installation.
