40ft Shipping Container converted into a changing room

- Working through the customerÂ’s requirements, we created a specification list (as noted below) as well as some additional items, including flashing beacons, emergency exit lights (including battery back-up) and push bar fire-exit door.

- The container was re-sprayed in a RAL white colour and internally insulated and lined in our white finish. As the images show, the conversion works were carried out to a high standard. The unit was fitted with 8 high-level windows complete with steel wire mesh shutters – the glazing on the windows was obscured to allow light into the unit yet retain privacy of the container’s occupants.

- In terms of the electrics, we fitted the container with bulkhead emergency lighting, which would activate in case of a power-out (i.e. with battery back-up). In addition, safety lighting with PIR sensors were installed to the exterior of the container as well as flashing beacon lights to warn passers by including HGVs of the containerÂ’s presence.
