A popular product, still in 2014, which can be supplied and machined by Presspahn is SRBP, more commonly known as Paxolin, Paxoline or Bakolite. The reasons for the wide range of use are as follows;

Electrical Insulation – Excellent for use in low voltage applications such as mounting of consumer units in buildings. SRBP offers a very cost effective material when large qualities are required.

Stock – Presspahn has thickness's from 0.5mm to 30mm available ex stock and in most cases sheets can be supplied next day (if ordered before 3.00pm).

Mechanical Strength – Excellent mechanical strength as standard but can also be specified in higher grades if even better performance is required. SRBP has been the insulation of choice for many years due to its hard wearing nature.

Heat Resistance – Suitable for applications up to a working temperature of 120°C (intermittent)

Fabrication – Using our advanced machining facilities Presspahn can manufacture a wide range of products to suit a customers requirements. Using Polyester Glass these can be done efficiently and thus a cost effective prices.

Price – SRBP has proved to be a cost effective solution for numerous customers in applications such as switchgear, aerospace, transformers and power distribution.
