Klauke has proved that it remains a cut above the rest with the launch of the VDE approved High Leverage Heavy Duty Side Cutter ‘KL046200IS’ . Its unique lever action is suitable for extremely hard materials. Steel suspension wires, plastic covered stainless ropes or jack chains are easily cut. Compared with Klauke’s existing Heavy Duty Side Cutter, the new tool offers a higher cutting performance with a reduction in handle load of 25%. If you are cutting hard materials and are fed up with the recoil of traditional tools, this new offering from Klauke will make your job quicker, more comfortable and effective. It complements and upgrades the existing range of Side Cutters.

Also keeping customers a cut above is the large Hand Cable Cutter ‘KL010210IS’.
At 210mm long it provides easy leverage and is suitable for cutting Cu stranded and fine stranded cables up to 25mm diameter (e.g. 70mm2).
One of the key elements is the specially profiled cutting jaws which features an extended cutting surface with fluted edges to make cuts quick and easy. The fluted profile secures the cable in place whilst reducing the handle force required. As with all the yellow & red handled tool range from Klauke, the large Hand Cable Cutter is VDE tested to 10,000V and rated for 1,000V safe working. Both the Side Cutter and Cable Cutter benefit from heavy-duty hand protection thanks to matched elastomers providing a non—slip overlay guaranteeing protection even under extreme conditions.
