Workplace
Are you looking for a quality first aid training course for your workplace? We offer a number of courses for the workplace designed to satisfy the Health and Safety Regulations 1981. These quality first aid training courses are ideally suited for groups from one to twenty four delegates. We also offer great discounts for group and repeat bookings. Early Years
We provide a range of first aid training courses for early years settings including nurseries, nannies, preschools, childminders and those working towards their child care qualifications. Once again these courses are available for numbers of up to 24 delegates. Schools
This course is intended for people who have been nominated by their employer to perform as the school's first aider and is designed for school teachers, support staff and lunchtime supervisors to be able to take control and respond to a child or person who may have become ill of injured in a safe and effective manner.
Parents and Guardians
At Wiltshire First Aid Training we recognise the need for parents and guardians to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with incidents including the confidence to remain calm and in control. We now run two hour first aid training courses which will give parents those skills. We can also tailor a course to meet your specific requirements or any concerns you may have. The course content includes: - Dealing with an unconscious baby or child both breathing and not breathing - Choking - Asthma attacks - Anaphylaxis - Shock and wounds
Sports
This six hour sports first aid training course is well suited for anyone thatï¿½s involved with sport whether it's competitive such as football, rugby, hockey or a solo sport such as cycling, dancing or equestrian. It not only covers all of the basic life support skills a person is required to hold but covers the treatment of sporting injuries where first aid may make all the difference to the casualty's recovery time. This course is also useful to learn how to assess whether a casualty should continue to take part in the activity or not. NEW - Outdoor First Aid Course
This 16 hour (2 day) course is suitable for a wide range of outdoor practitioners and for those who maybe in an area where an ambulance or rescue team will not be arriving for more than two hours including:

Mental Health First Aid Course
Mental illness affects 1 in 6 people, therefore workplace mental health support is just as relevant as first aid. The HSE updated their mental health guidelines in 2024, it is now emphasised that it is the responsibility of employers to take account of employees mental health. Wiltshire First Aid offer 2 recognised accredited courses: - Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health - Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health.

I recently attended a First Aid at Work Course run by Wiltshire First Aid Training, and if I am honest was dreading it!! However, I needn't have been worried, as from the start the Instructor Emma was extremely friendly, professional and obviously passionate about her subject.
