CNC Machining Services Cornwall
From a purpose built manufacturing facility based in Cornwall, Prime Engineering is able to provide both CNC milling and CNC turning machining. We regularly carry out the CNC machining of a wide range of precision and high tolerance components to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

The CNC 3 Axis milling and CNC turning machines we have are capable of producing high quality parts at fast turnarounds. Our skilled and highly experienced machinists have an in depth of knowledge of working on all types of materials.

Where manual milling and turning are concerned we have a range of highly accurate machinery which we use for both second operation work and the complete manufacture of prototype work.

Centreless Grinding
For all of your tighter dimensional tolerance work we have the capacity to achieve the production of components with extremely smooth surfaces and a higher degree of straightness.

Bespoke Tool Grinding

Cylindrical & Surface Grinding
Our capacity for cylindrical grinding is a max length of 500mm with diameters up to 250mm. This also includes taper and internal grinding.

This combined with our surface grinding capacities of 800m X 500mm we are able to provide customers with the all-round grinding service.

Jig Grinding

Internal Key Way Cutting
For keyways sized from 1mm to 13mm width cut into shaft diameters of up to 400mm our key way cutting service is top notch.

Welding & Fabrication
Where welding and fabrication is concerned Prime Engineering has a dedicated manufacturing section housing Tig welding and sheet metal fabrication equipment which is well suited for materials ranging from mild steel and stainless steel to aluminium as well as the manufacture of bespoke products.
