To reduce the pressure on our shops, stores and field teams outsourcing the stocktakes enabled them to stay focused on generating income to help BHF fund research into heart and circulatory diseases. The benefit: British Heart Foundation shops and stores can be very busy so it’s important to have systems in place to allow our teams to be as efficient as possible. Orridge have a large Nationwide team that can support all our pharmacies. They were able to allocate stocktakers to all sites close to the end of the month as per our request. This meant that we had less adjustments, improving the accuracy of each stocktake. The most important thing for us is to have up-to-date market price information to ensure that our stock take value is as accurate as possible and Orridge can provide this. We were able to share the data with RWA which allowed for further analysis of our stock numbers and enabled us to identify excess or dead stock within our pharmacies.
