Coverfill Fibre System - Cushion Filling Machines

The Coverfill Fibre System from MKN Engineering has been specifically designed to convert fibre by opening and blowing into a pre-made case or cover.

These units are perfect for the filling of pillows, cushions and upholstery. They are also very simple to operate by hand feeding the fibre from the bale, bin or hopper on to a driven feed conveyor. The rate of filling is controlled by means of a foot pedal to ensure even distribution within the case product.

Our Coverfill systems are delivered fully assembled and also come pre-wired needing just a three phase power supply. No bolting to the floor is necessary either making it an easy task to move from work station to work station.

Over the past 20 years the Coverfill systems from MKN have performed admirably on a worldwide scale offering high performance, reliability and minimal maintenance costs.

Filling capacities include weights that vary from 200 grams through to 5 kilos making this system one of the most adaptable on the market.

Feather/Foam Crumb Filler

The Feather/Foam Crumb Filler supplied by MKN has been mainly developed for down, curled feather and poultry filling applications.

It provides reliable and versatile use for the smaller converter with outputs ranging from 5500 to 6000 kilos per single shift working week. The perfect production balance is easily achieved with one operator feeding an aeriated chamber working in unison with a colleague operating the filling nozzle.

The whole operation is compact, easily operated and maintained but above all provides a highly cost effective process.
