complex rolling, i.e. curves, ovals, ellipses etc. for:-
Plate Rolls with Pre Bend: from 4mm up to 200mm thick, with widths up to
8000mm, both 3 and 4 Roll, single & double Pinch, additionally Asymmetrical,
Pyramid rolls.
Sheet Metal: from 1mm up to 6mm thick, with widths up to 3100mm.
Section Roll’s: For Rolling a wide range of Structural sections,
Architectural Sections, Tube & Pipe, Section Roll models are designated by the

Shearing & Notching: Generally, most manufacturers calculate Guillotine,
Corner Notcher, Universal steelworker cutting / shearing, punching, cropping
capacity on material with a max tensile strength of (Tensile 40 Kgs/mm2).
When choosing a shearing & notching machinery, the main consideration is
material type. i.e Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium etc, i.e. its
tensile strength (Tensile 40 Kgs/mm2).
Hydraulic or Mechanical guillotines: Hydraulic Guillotines are
principally correct for materials above 4 mm, materials 4mm and below tend to
use a mechanical guillotine, as they have faster strokes per/min. Then decisions
reference Swing Beam or Vertical cutting action, Type of back gauge readout, NC
or simple DRO. Type of backgauge (several options dependent upon the individual
manufacture). Our experienced sales team are always on hand to advise for your

used metalworking technologies, generally obtained through part exchanges of new

All used metalworking technologies are 1st cleaned then checked over, function
tested, electrically checked, if there are any faults they will be resolved or
highlighted during any sales negotiations.
Our in-house team of service engineers provide ongoing breakdown cover, any
operator ‘machine Function training, annual service.

I called Jps and got some solid advice after I bought a press off a different company. Jps discussed my options. and we decided to leave the press as it is, was the best option.
