We were first contacted by IPSG Renard to advise us that they'd set up a new office in Warrington, and were offering free energy audits to business premises in the area. We were skeptical at first, and thought maybe it's another scammer, or perhaps just another sales tactic, but we decided on this occasion to go with it, and invited them over to see what their offer was about. Basically the end result was, the company highlighted to us where we could improve (reduce) our energy consumption, they offered a financing option called an 'ESCO service', where they basically upgrade everything for free, they make the investment into everything, they manage it all, and then everything is maintained for an agreed period, in our case it is 15 years. If we hadn't chosen this option, the necessary work would have cost us around 1.2m, but we've actually paid 0 toward any of the upgrade, and I'm told that our property value should have risen by around 20% as well. Bonus! Well recommended
