Hemlock Engineering is a CNC
Machining Company in the United Kingdom that specialises in the manufacture of
precision milled parts in non-ferrous metal, aluminium or plastic, although our
capabilities extend to machine any material you require.
Established since 1986, Hemlock Engineering provides its clients with high
quality products made with perfection. We currently have 45 CNC Machines
including machines for Robot Automation CNC Milling, making us the East Midlands
largest sub-contractor.

Hemlock Engineering have a facility dedicated to automated CNC milling which
houses two Robotic Brother Speedio 5 axis vertical-spindle machining centres.
The equipped robots handle component unloading and loading. Our robot automation
CNC milling machines have increased our production output on high to medium
volume machining significantly.
Robot automation has reduced the need for operator intervention during the
production process, enabling us to pass the cost saving on to our clients. When
it comes to high volume machining our ability to deliver cost-effective, rapid
CNC milling has been transformed thanks to each cell’s enhanced output and
efficiency. Hemlock Engineering are now able to provide clients with the most
cost effective machining service in the East Midlands.

Hemlock combine engineering expertise with the latest technology to manufacture
perfect components. We have a range of different CNC milling machines with their
own unique tooling features that are fully programmable to cut even the most
complex shapes with complete precision, time and time again.
Regardless of the milling complexity we can offer a cost effective service as we
operate 3, 4 and 5 axis machines.

Our sister company
HPC Services Ltd handles all of our CNC turning. HPC Services
specislise in the machining of quality precision turned parts in non-ferrous
materials like aluminium, stainless steel, brass and plastic. HPC has a
dedicated CNC turning facility that is home to 17 sliding and fixed head lathes
with unique programmable tooling fixtures.
HPC can manage the entire project from CAD/CAM and machining to plating or
anodizing. Components can be produced with a diameter of 16mm up to 250mm. Our
experienced team of engineers deliver high quality, complex precision turned
parts at the lowest possible price, all components are available with worldwide
shipping.

From initial enquiry to final dispatch, quality is fundamental to everything we
do. We combine in-house expertise with industry approved processes to ensure we
get everything right the first time. Every component we produce is subject to
first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Hemlock Engineering are pleased to say that we are fully accredited to ISO
9001:2015 through a UKAS accredited body (NQA). Our inspection team use the most
up-to-date equipment available, like our new Keyence IM-8030 Video Inspection
System.
