As part of its range of marine support services, Fathoms operates dive teams qualified to HSE Part I and II and maintains a transportable twin lock hyperbaric medical facility. Fathoms’ divers are registered as Classified Workers under IRR’s. Nuclear radiological services Fathoms’ has become the UK’s foremost provider of subsea radiological services with over 10 years experience in this specialised field. Fathoms’ expertise relates to the location, mapping and safe removal of radioactive particles detected on or under the seabed using special detectors as well as routine and special inspections and investigations of outfalls and diffuser structures. All radiological contracts comply with current Ionising Radiation Regulations and Fathoms’ has qualified RPA and RPS capability. Fathoms operates in accordance with ISO9001-2000 Quality Assurance Standard’s procedures.
