Essex Kilns Ltd

We were formed in 1991 from the demise of Catterson Smith. Malcolm Button and John Phillips started from scratch and concentrated on the kiln market. Malcolm retired in May 2003 and John is now Managing Director, solely in charge. The work force are highly skilled and quality kilns, furnaces and ovens are manufactured on the site at Tollesbury. We hold all the drawings of the Catterson Smith range of craft, industrial furnaces and ovens and can provide spares, repairs and servicing for all of this equipment. We operate out of a 3000 square foot factory unit and customers are always welcome to visit. We recommend telephoning before hand to make sure we have what you want to see.
