Cognex offer a wide range of industrial vision systems backed up by local application engineering, vision solution engineering, service and support. The 8000 series offers both frame grabber and vision engines for the PC, providing a powerful solution for OEMs and system integrators, while Checkpoint uses a graphical programming language and is used by manufacturing engineers and intergrators. The new InSight vision sensor uses the powerful Cognex software tools in a low cost modular system. Other application specific solutions include products for character reading and verification (OCR, OCV), two dimensional code reading (2D matrix), LCD inspection and fiducial finding.
