    Cellular Mouldings Ltd have extensive knowledge in plastics and polyurethanes, we manufacture a wide range of products for various industry sectors.

    Established in 1972 we started out manufacturing moulded products for the motor and shoe industries. In 2003 we added reaction injection moulding (RIM) to our service range and extrusions in 2004. We now use our 3 different plastic technologies to manufacture for over 400 clients nationwide.

    Our processes are all handled in our Northamptonshire premises, where we benefit from excellent rail and road connections.

    Polyurethane Foam Mouldings


    A big part of Cellular Mouldings Ltd are polyurethane foams. Depending on your requirements, foam systems that we can offer are available with different physical or mechanical properties, densities and hardness.

    Polyurethane foams are incredibly lightweight and versatile, they can be moulded and processed into shapes and sizes to suit most applications. Our polyurethane foam mouldings are often used for a variety of commercial and consumer products like leisure applications, seating, healthcare products, bedding and furniture.

    Antibacterial Properties
    All of our pigmented polyols and lacquers provide very high levels of bacteria protection thanks to our incorporated antibacterial agent. Our antibacterial polyurethane mouldings can be found in hospitals, schools, care homes, veterinary establishments, air conditioning units, leisure industry furniture and much more.

    PVC and Plastic Extrusions


    We operate 4 separate extrusion lines all of which can produce co-extruded, rigid and flexible profiles at very competitive prices. Cellular Mouldings Ltd offer low volume production at high volume prices, when required we also have the capabilities to produce long, high volume production runs.

    Our specialty lies in producing completely bespoke profiles to your individual specifications, we also hold a significant stock of profiles ready to produce gaskets and seals.

    Colours and Finishes
    Historically extrusions tend to be conservative in colour, however in recent times we have been asked to colour match gaskets, trims and seals. Cellular Mouldings are more than happy to accommodate any specific colour requests you may have.

    RIM (Reaction Injection Moulding)


    Reaction injection moulding is an extremely versatile process involving 2 liquid components reacting to form a solid mixture. RIM mouldings have excellent mechanical properties making them ideal for instances where expensive injection moulding set up is prohibitive.

    These polyurethane materials are highly adaptable and excellent for multiple or single component short production runs, as well as low to medium volume production parts.

    Rapid Prototyping
    Using our knowledge and experience Cellular Mouldings can offer rapid prototyping of parts in a very short space of time to a fully finished, exhibition standard.

    RIM Applications
    Structural foams and polyurethane elastomers can be used as enclosures, surrounds, housing and facias trims for virtually any application in any industry. Some examples include Scientific, Offshore, Medical & Healthcare and Retail Solutions.
