original design, research and development through to the manufacture,

Power Units
We manufacture
power units for a wide range of applications like bridge lifting,
machine tools, drilling rigs, bail mining, circulating water, lock gates and
much more.
Power packs are available electric, pneumatic, diesel or petrol driven, they
emit low noise and are designed to IEC60079 IEC61241. All of our power packs are
designed bespoke to your specific requirements, ATEX Zone 2 compliance means
they can even be used in hazardous areas.
Actuators
The design of complex systems for major UK industries is not all Axis Hydraulics
Ltd do, we also design a range of hydraulic actuators for applications
like; hatch lifting, lock gates, discharge valves, submersibles, oil & gas
drilling platform ballasts and more.
Our range of actuators include double or single acting, rotary or semi-rotary.
They are self-contained, offering load hold and burst protection.
Portable Power Units
Whether there's a power failure, it's for a hand operated wheel, or for a remote
location, our engineers have a wide range of efficient portable power units that
reduce injuries from valve, sluice and penstock operation applications, reduce
operator fatigue and save time.
Portable power units are wheeled for rough terrain, narrow access and vehicle
stowage. When required they can be trailer mounted for road going and come in
diesel, petrol or electric variations.
Process Cooling
Process cooling equipment can be manufactured to bespoke designs for power
conversion, electronic device cooling and Renewables. Our process cooling
equipment is DNV and ABS marine approved and can monitor pressure, temperature
and flow.

power packs. We can offer a bespoke design service for all equipment or they can
be bought 'off the shelf'.
Installation &
Test
Varley Hydraulics highly skilled engineers can install pipework construction
from tungum brazed to mild steel. They have specialist safety and hydraulic
qualifications with in depth knowledge. To ensure system integrity and
cleanliness prior to commissioning, flow & test and calibrated flushing
equipment Is used.
Maintenance &
Repairs
Our specialist team of engineers can maintain not only our own equipment but
also equipment supplied by other manufacturers. We have the capabilities to
manufacture replacement parts, even for obsolete equipment.
