and related services. Our Hampshire based facility is full of the very latest
innovations in tooling and machinery.
Founded in 1985 by George Asher, we are a close-knit family owned business with
more than 50 years’ experience in multi-axis CNC engineering. Our team of
specialist engineers are skilled and fully trained to the highest standards in
all areas of precision engineering.

| Aluminium CNC Milling |
For CNC milling we have 14 Hurco CNC mills with both 4 & 5 axis capabilities. We
also have a range of conventional mills to suit all requirements.
Although we can mill Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass and Titanium, Aluminium
remains one of the most popular materials for machine parts. Aluminium is
lighter than most materials and has an excellent strength to weight ratio. It is
also quick to machine and mill, offering high conductivity and high corrosion
resistance.
Aluminium CNC Milling is available for all grades, with some of the most popular
being Marine Grade 5083, Aerospace Grade 2024, High Strength Aerospace Grade
705, and General Purpose Grade 6082.
Maximum Milling Capabilities: 1 meter x 700mm
| CNC Machining |
Ash Precision can machine Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Titanium and Brass. To
compliment our 14 CNC Mills, we also have 2 Hyundai CNC Lathes, Conventional
Lathes and various Micron Gear Cutters.
CNC Turning
Our multi-axis turning machines rotate the workpiece along multiple axis whilst
the cutting tool is able to ensure the creation of complex internal and external
geometries, including thread, slots and tapers. Our lathes are capable of
creating custom components and parts to your specifications.
Maximum Turning Capabilities: 6” diameter chuck / 26mm collet
Gear Cutting
When it comes to gear cutting Ash Precision have the capacity for gear cutting
from components supplied, or manufacturing complete gears. From production work
to one-off prototypes, we can use a range of cutting processes including
Milling, Grinding, Broaching, Skiving and Hobbing.
