About Altovar Ltd
On August 1st 1994, Altovar finally commenced production of its range of lithographic printing-ink varnishes in its new purpose-built production facility at Thorpe Mead, Banbury. One week later, production was stopped at its temporary premises, and after one month of continuous production at its new plant, the old plant was dismantled, and the equipment moved to the new premises. Thus ended two traumatic years in the short history of the company.
