Non Slip Safety Flooring

Non slip flooring is a form of flooring which is relatively safer than the floor it is replacing and can be used in almost any application; the sole aim is to stop the user or pedestrian from slipping and harming themselves when walking or working in their environment. They can be manufactured in the form of flooring panels, non slip stair covers and anti slip self adhesive tapes. The tapes can be used for exterior and interior purposes and are made of tough resin bonded oxide grit, seated on to a heavy duty flexible backing, they can come in a variety of colours and specifications depending on the application, these come in a roll form. Non slip stair tread covers can be used to completely cover the existing step with flat or round nosing’s, these too can be purchased in different colours. They can be bought ready and cut to size; it is also an effective way to reduce noise levels on steel stair cases. Anti slip surface sheets are a slip resistant solution to timber or concrete floor areas and can be supplied in 4mm thick GRP sheets and 6mm thick which are more suitable in heavy duty situations such as public walkways.
