GlideLoc®
Ladders |
|
|
|
GlideLoc®
Fall Protection Ladders provide safe and controlled means of vertical access
whilst working where fall risks exist. The various designs offer employers,
designers and users safe, discrete and cost effective alternative to traditional
hooped or caged ladders. Throughout the climb the user is safe and comfortable,
hence the work task can be carried out quicker and employers have total
confidence in the safety of their employees.
The key to the system’s safety is the shock absorbing ‘Comfort’ travelling
device that runs along GlideLoc® central rail providing the link between
the user’s harness.
The system is ideal for accessing buildings, communication structures and other
high-rise structures such as chimney stacks and church towers. Made from
galvanised and stainless steel as well as anodised aluminium, it can cope with
any environment. |

GlideLoc®
Guiderail |
|
|
|
Where existing fixed ladders are present, GlideLoc® Fall Protection
GuideRail offers the same safe and controlled vertical access. It is
retrofitted to existing hooped or caged ladders facilitating continuous
connection for the user during ascent and descent. The System can run
horizontally where intermediate platforms exist.
The HSE’s research report 258 ‘Preliminary investigation into the fall-arresting
effectiveness of ladder safety hoops’ concludes that “existing hooped ladders
should have Fall Arrest Systems installed to give positive fall protection and
hence safe access” GlideLoc® Fall Protection GuideRail is perfect
in meeting this requirement. |

PivotLoc® |
|
|
|
PivotLoc®, a new innovative folding version of the system has recently
been introduced. It’s unique feature is that the side rungs, which are folded
together in the closed position, pivot open when released from ground level,
producing a fully functional permanent ladder with integrated GlideLoc® fall
protection. The system is made from corrosion resistant, anodised aluminium.
This robust ladder system gives ultimate user comfort and safety whilst offering
architects and other designers a totally discrete solution. It is ideally suited
for height access applications, such as on metal clad buildings where an
‘invisible’ solution is required. |

MultiRail®
|
|
|
|
Söll-MultiRail®
is a fixed horizontal anchorage rail, which is designed and tested to DIN EN 795
- Class D. It offers the highest level of Fall Protection to people working in
fall risk areas where horizontal movement is required. Made from stainless
steel, MultiRail® can be fixed at centres up to 3000mm and is approved
for simultaneous use by up to six people. It is ideal for overhead fall arrest
systems in applications such as truck loading and aircraft maintenance.
To compliment these permanently fixed fall arrest systems, we offer a full range
of Personal Fall Protection Equipment including harnesses, lanyards,
personal fall limiters and ropes.
At Safety At Height we pride ourselves on the high quality of our fall
protection systems backed up with a customer focus to provide a high level of
service.
