SURTECH have been manufacturing and supplying mechanical metal finishing equipment and consumables since 1973. We offer the largest selection of abrasive belt grinding, deburring and polishing machines for all industries.

Our speciality are deburring machines for sheet metal, polishing machines for tubes and hollow sections, portable abrasive power tools and well over 100 machines for all kinds of manual operations..

Our machines are complemented by a full range of consumables: abrasive belts, abrasive wheels, polishing buffs, polishing compounds and many speciality abrasive products.

After sales support
We believe we are the only Company in our industry with an in house tool room and manufacturing department, a large stock of spares and qualified engineers who can install and commission our machines as well as training customers’ operators.

Abrasive Test Centre
At the heart of our operation is our unique Abrasive Test Centre, equipped with over 50 machines and the appropriate consumables, where customers can carry out practical trials on their own parts.

Service / Product Range

Portable abrasive power tools
Portable abrasive power tools are the preferred choice for small batches and for difficult parts for which automatic machines are uneconomical. There is the ubiquitous angle grinder which can carry out many finishing operations in the hand of a skilled operator but which cannot compete with dedicated tools which produce more consistent finishes and de-skill most operations.

Sheet metal deburring machines
Over the last few years requirements for sheet metal edge deburring have changed. It is no longer acceptable to just remove upstanding burrs. Companies now want all edges rounded as well as deburred.

Surtech can offer several machines which are market leaders. Our Lissmac range will deburr and round corners simultaneously on both sides of a sheet and in a single pass.

For heavy burrs from thermal cutting we can offer machines with special hammer action belts for removing dross and with additional heads to blend corners, again simultaneously on both sides.

Grinding and polishing in difficult to reach areas
The success of grinding and polishing difficult to reach areas depends more on the choice of consumables and the design of grinding and polishing heads than the machine itself. We can offer dozens of contact heads and if necessary we can modify existing heads or design and build new ones.

Special equipment for welders
Many of our customers produce welded fabrications. Apart from finishing machines we can also offer bevelling machines for weld preparation and precision welding tables for jigging.

Dedicated machines
For customers with grinding, deburring or polishing operations for which no suitable machine exists we can modify standard machines or design and build special models, tailor made to individual requirements
