If you need to meet the Noise at Work Regulations, your sound level meter or noise meter must meet able to provide Leq and Peak(C) values. Cirrus has a range of instruments that will give you these functions from the simple CR:262A to the CR:822C with Data Logging and Octave Band Filters. We can provide software to download your noise measurements to a PC and to help you produce reports.

If your employees are mobile, driving vehicles or using machinery then using a noise dosemeter or dosimeter may be more appropriate. The Cirrus doseBadge is the industry leading instrument for personal noise exposure. It is simple to operate, very robust and lightweight as well as being available with ATEX Intrinsic Safety Certification.

If your noise problems are outdoors, then you will probably need to make environmental noise measurements. We have a range of sound level meters that can be used in this environment and they can be used with a weatherproof case to allow for long term or overnight noise surveys.
