Ronacrete products meet British Standards wherever possible or have
BBA Agrément Certification. Quality is assessed to ISO standards and

History
Since April 1st 1969 Ronacrete has grown in size, expertise and
product reputation and now is an international market leader with
centres in Hong Kong, The Philippines and China. The product range
now includes adhesives and grouts, instant pothole and road repair,
hard decorative landscaping, safety and anti-slip flooring, rapid
set floor repairs, decorative flooring, protective coatings for
facades and fast strength-gain mortars.
Concrete Repair and Protection
The Ronacrete concrete repair range includes best selling Ronafix
admixture, Ronabond pre-packed repair mortars and fairing coat,
Ronabond Joltec elastomeric coating, Ronabond Migratory Corrosion
Inhibitor and Zolpacryl anti-carbonation plus decorative coatings.
British Board of Agrement (BBA) Certificates endorse Ronacrete
repair mortars, which together with levelling mortars and protective
decorative coatings form a complete concrete repair system.
Hard Landscaping
Ronacrete provide a variety of hard landscaping choices including
Ronadeck Resin Bound Surfacing, Ronadeck Resin Bonded Surfacing and
Ronadeck Porous Tree Pits (SUDs compliant). Durable, attractive
decorative paving with anti-slip properties.
The surfacing is suitable for light foot traffic in domestic areas
and has been used in station footpaths, museums, parks and
landscaped areas, hotels, shopping centres and car parking bays.
It is available in a choice of finishes and looks for private homes
and gardens, public buildings and landscaped properties, it is
particularly suitable for swimming pool surrounds having passed the
passed the DIN 51130 slip resistance test.
Screeds
A well designed floor screed is very important to a building and
will meet the demands imposed on it for years without trouble,
breakdown or failure. However a badly installed floor will give
problems and not necessarily problems associated with the floor
itself.
Ronacrete has a selection of pre-packed screeds for internal and
external application they can all be trafficked early. Ronacrete
also offer products and systems for new floor screeds as well as a
full range of floor repair mortars for quick and easy floor
maintenance and repair including Ronascreed 1 Day Overlay.
Urban Design
The
diverse set of products in the “street” range are all designed to
keep our streets safe, clean and tidy so they can be enjoyed by the
people who use them. They keep disruption to a minimum and allow for
early or instant trafficking.
The range includes bedding and pointing mortars, and kerb and step
repair mortars. Tactiles offering hazard awareness to visually
impaired pedestrians.
Chewing gum repellent and anti-graffiti coatings make the cleaning
of the streets quicker and easier, potentially saving local
authorities thousands of pounds.
Highway Maintenance
The RonaRoad range of highway and road pothole repair products
provide instant trafficking and ease of laying in most weather
conditions including below freezing and wet. RonaRoad GreenPatch
Pothole Repair can be laid at -20°C.
By using environmentally friendly low and zero VOC softeners road
authorities and councils can more easily meet their environmental
targets by using Ronacrete products.
Commercial Industrial Flooring
Ronacrete produces high performance epoxy coatings for floors for
use in factories, warehouses, laboratories, hospitals and showrooms
or areas where easy cleaning and or resistance to chemical spillage
is required.
In situations where it cannot be assumed that a functional damp
proof membrane exists, RonaFloor epoxy damp proof membrane provides
that layer of reassurance that rising damp will not spoil the new
surface. High build, decorative and protective epoxy coatings are
also available.
Product solutions are also available for patch repairs floor
resurfacing in heavy industries eg factories, warehouses, ramps and
aisles, runways and airport pavements. These include high strength
thin bonded and rapid thin bonded patch repair.
Safety Flooring
Ronadeck Fast Grip, PU and HB coatings are easily combined with
aggregates to create profiled / textured decorative “painted” floors
with minimal risk of slip.
Also available from Ronacrete are instant-fix preformed sections
together with repair mortars and levelling screeds to maximise grip
and minimise slipping. Some products allow floors to be opened to
normal traffic within seconds; others range from one hour to next
day.
The Ronadeck Instants Range includes GRP sheets and nosings which
are instantly fixed to floors using screws or adhesives to create
walk on and drive on surfaces with positive traction, reduced risk
of slippage and also sight lines for DDA conformance and compliance.
Waterproofing and Tanking
Ronafix modified cement renders are highly efficient at stopping
the passage of water but they also allow the surface to breathe,
thus avoiding the risk of internal condensation on the surface of
the wall.
Two coats of Ronafix render will tank a basement and create a living
or working space, or storage for paper and other media. Ronafix
renders can be combined with Ronacrete’s tile adhesives and coloured
grouts for complete waterproofing and tiling solutions.
Roller or brush applied coatings such as Ronabond Joltec act as a
water barrier on facades while providing colourful decoration with
more than 400 shades available.
