Established in 1911 when George Steadman set up business as Caldbeck's blacksmith, our family firm has grown to become a major supplier to the construction and agricultural industries. Having out-grown a 3000 square metre site at Caldbeck, we designed and built a new plant at Warnell
in 1989. Purpose built to accommodate the extensive
range of equipment and machinery required to
manufacture our roofing and cladding products. |

In addition to all the undercover storage facilities, we maintain multi million pounds worth of stock. Customers' orders and stock levels are constantly monitored by the administration, backed up by up-to-date computer systems.
We are proud of the fact that the majority of our factory and office staff have been with the firm for many years.
Together with the directors, they form an experienced and reliable team - always committed to making sure that the customers are supplied with what they want, when they need it!
To ensure reliable deliveries, we use our own delivery vehicles featuring self unloading fork-lifts. Nationwide deliveries are made weekly to each area.
We manufacture a full range of composite panels, fibre cement sheet, corrugated metal sheet, liner panels, light duty wall & roof sheeting, ventilated light duty wall sheet, mid-range wall & roof sheet, heavy duty wall & roof sheet, metal slate roof systems, 4hr fire resistance systems, galvanised structural gutters, eaves beams and channel flashings. |

Our purpose built 16,000 square metre plant on our 50,000 square metre site at Warnell, near Carlisle in Cumbria is responsible for all our manufacturing, stock storage and administration.
Within our manufacturing plant we have the following machinery available at our disposal to ensure we can manufacture and fulfil our client's demands and ensure stock levels are always kept to a maximum.
