Rednal Pneumatics Ltd are a leading manufacturer of pressure vessels and hydraulic rams supplying both European and wider world markets. Rednal provides a complete manufacturing solution for a range of industrial equipment, from bracketry to complex assemblies. Larger finished assemblies, designed and prototyped by the division, also include refuse vehicle bin lift assemblies and commercial vehicle tail-lift systems.

Design

The CAD/CAM based design facilities, with internet links, provide a speedy response to new designs, modifications and product/component development.

Turned Parts

The latest CNC bar-fed lathes produce turned parts, bosses, glands, bushes and pistons to high tolerances from a variety of metals and materials.

Assembly

The on-site assembly shop manufactures products and sub-assemblies from its components including rednals own range of hydraulic rams and pumps. Qualified welders and fitters provide us with the capacity to supply a finished product or sub-assembly including electrical, electronic, air and hydraulic installations. Seven dedicated production lines which cover sub-arc, robotic, mig, and tig welding. Each line is based on either volume or batched production.

Preparation

In-house facilities are provided for producing the wide range of metal components for the final assembly process- i.e. dished ends, bracketry and plate profiling.

Powder Coating

Our modern powder coating conveyor plant includes a three stage pre-treatment ensuring quality finishes. This well established facility is also offered on a sub-contract basis.

Hydraulic Rams

We manufacture all kinds of hydraulic rams of the highest quality and in a range of sizes. Our hydraulic Ram repair service offers fast turnaround and quality replacement seals by qualified hydraulic ram manufactures and coded welders.

Welding

With seven production lines operate which cover sub-arc, robotic, mig, and tig welding, all are welders are coded and maintain a very high quality in this division.

We also manufacture vehicle bin-lifts and commercial vehicle tail-lifts and truck and trailer reservoirs.

Laser Cutting / Laser Profiling

Rednal Pneumatics Ltd are experts in laser cutting and have recently invested in a new 4KW CNC Amada machine with 3 metre x 1.5 metre table capacity. This new investment offers the following Laser cutting capacity: Up to 20mm thickness carbon Steel laser cutting, 12mm Thickness (clean-cut) laser cutting in Stainless Steel and up to 10mm thickness laser cutting in aluminium.

To support this new laser cutting machine we have our own off line CAD/CAM programming centre and the capabilities of downloading most laser cutting drawing no matter what format. This new laser cutting investment has added a new dimension to our already well equipped factory. The Laser Cutting has also helped produce many components that were previously CNC machined, therefore aiding towards reduced component costs and improved delivery times.
