Poundfield Products is one of the UK’s most innovative manufacturers of walling. Most of their products are unique to the company.
The company’s first product was the Alfabloc®, a concrete retaining wall system, that is quicker and easier to install than any competing product and which in many cases can be used freestanding.
Next came the one and two metre wide interlocking prestressed L-blocs. Being prestressed rather than precast they are lighter than normal L-s and for this reason the company was able to manufacture the only 2 metre wide L on the market. The double width together with the interlocking joints almost halves the installation time.
After a long development period the company introduced the Betabric walling system. Both the retaining and pre-laid boundary walls are factory-based systems, which have bricks precast into prefabricated reinforced solid panels up to 6m in length and 2.4m in height. The result is an elegant brick wall in the client’s choice of standard brick and because it is manufactured under factory-controlled standards it has a uniformity of appearance not always found in traditional bricklaying.
Both the walls can be very quickly installed on site regardless of the weather and all this results in a saving of up to 50% on traditional methods.
