Products include lightweight, portable,
aluminium PORTA-DAVITS, T-DAVITS, PORTA-GANTRYS (WLL 500kg to our
NEW 5000kg), Manhole Lifters and PORTA-QUADS plus a range of bespoke
solution developments.
PORTA-DAVIT
The portable, aluminium alloy 2 piece davit from
Reid, available up to a WLL 500kg
model. Total assembled weight of the standard unit is 25kg - a
lightweight revolution from Reid.
T-DAVIT
The T-Davit has a maximum working load limit (WLL) of 500 kg and can
be specified with a beam reach of up to 2 metres. Its design
features a special ultra-low friction bearing for ease of turning
under full load.
SOCKETS
We provide a selection of sockets for the PORTA-DAVIT and T-DAVIT
that come in a range of options to suit the needs of your Davit
mounting foundation.
SOCKET EXTENSIONS
Socket extensions are used to elevate the height of the davit to
increase reach over barriers, pipe work, wall obstructions, etc.
They fit all Reid sockets and
are lightweight and portable.
PORTA-BASE
The PORTA-BASE is a portable socket foundation for our PORTA-DAVIT.
With the capacity of WLL 500kg at a radius of up to 1 metre, the
PORTA- BASE provides high utilisation with no requirement for fixed
sockets.
PORTA-GANTRY
The PORTA-GANTRY range of lightweight, portable gantries brings a
new dimension to the professional lifting market. The use of the
PORTA-GANTRY usually leads to capital savings by reducing fixed,
poorly utilised installations.
MHL SNAPPER and MHL 925 COVER LIFTER
The MHL Snapper manhole lifter is designed for rapid assembly and
allows swift operation for covers up to 200 kg while being
lightweight and easy to transport. The MHL 925 hydraulic cover
lifter has a unique four point lift frame for larger covers.
QUAD-POD
The extremely lightweight, mobile Quad-Pod from
Reid is perfectly designed for
moving heavy submersible pumps. Available in a 500kg SWL model with
an assembled weight of approximately 28kg - 36lbs.
