Plastico’s product range is very varied and includes up to 1800 items giving customers a ‘One Stop Shop.The key categories include: plastic cutlery, disposable and reusable glassware, workwear, bar and chefs accessories. Most of the items can be customized, printed and packed for both the catering and consumer markets. Biodegradable
Always at the forefront of research and development, Plastico has been working to bring to the market a biodegradable material that we believe will offer unique benefits. Unlike other materials on the market this does NOT affect the physical nature of the products and does NOT dissolve or degrade in use, especially with hot foods and drinks. A cellulose additive has been developed, which when mixed with the material makes it biodegradable. This leaves the physical properties of the product unchanged so that it looks and feels the same as any standard product. Once the product is in contact with the soil, the degradation process begins. Total disintegration will take place within two years. The products can be stored in temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees centigrade.

Plastico offers a comprehensive and unrivalled range of disposable, reusable and unbreakable plastic drinkware. Flexy glass the disposable thin walled polypropylene tumblers, Crystal glass disposable hard walled tumblers, flutes and wine glasses, Rollors the reusable heavy duty polystyrene tumblers Clarity wine glass, hi-ball and Tulip shaped pint made from reusable polystyrene or unbreakable polycarbonate, Shatterproof unbreakable tumblers made form polycarbonate, Reusable and Unbreakable tumblers can be government stamped, all tumblers can be custom printed

Cutlery Range
Today, Plastico offers you an unrivalled range of cutlery sets and utensils. The stock range includes Hilite-economy, Sunlite-heavyweight, and Elite-premium. In addition to this we have an extensive range of teapoons, coffee spoons and teastirrers.
Cutlery is produced and stocked in a variety of pack sizes, plus we can tailor make these if required. All plastic cutlery is manufactured from food grade polystyrene which has a high melt point, making it suitable for hot drinks and food. A wide variety of standard colours are available and they can be pantone matched, subject to minimum order.

Accessories Range
Food and drink presentation are an essential part of creating consumer satisfaction. Plastico started selling wooden products over 50 years ago and has over the years developed extensive knowledge and experience in the production and supply of wooden, paper and plastic accessories.
Products include drinking straws, buffet skewers, decorative frills, toothpicks, flags, wooden sticks, skewers, cocktail sticks and stirrers. Items are sold in attractive display boxes where appropriate, and incorporate bar codes for resale purposes.

Work Wear
Plastico’s range of headwear and workwear is highly comprehensive and responds to the needs of the hotel and catering market. In addition to a variety of headwear, the portfolio encompasses, aprons, masks, goggles and gloves. All items are bar coded and CE marked as appropriate to give users additional reassurance that the products are of a high and guaranteed quality.

Consumer Products
Plastico produces and supplies cutlery, glassware, paper and plastic tableware to the consumer and cash and carry markets throughout Europe. Items are sold both under the Plastico brand as well as own label. Packaging can be developed in acetate, board or bags with innovation being our core competence. Proud winners of the Starpack award for developing the ‘Carry out Packs’ for party glasses, we have now extended this concept to incorporate a full range of wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers. Products can also be designed and made, on an exclusive basis to meet an individual customers brief.

Customised Products
Personalization is one of Plastico’s core skills. Our graphic design studio will advise on colours, designs and reproduction. We can also provide mock ups and proofs for your approval prior to print to ensure that the print quality meets your expectations. You can rely on us to minimize lead times, to re-create artwork accurately, cost effectively and to get it right each and every time.

Design Services
Plastico are experts in the design and production of plastic, paper and wooden products. Whether you are looking to tailor make a new product and want advice, costings, prototypes, a feasibility study or whether you want to promote a brand or corporate identity by custom printing a standard item we can provide you with a solution. We have our own team of technicians, who can produce CADCAM data and 3D prototypes, as well as graphic designers who can create logos, new packaging ideas and mock ups to ensure that you can view and approve designs and concepts before production takes place. We are one of a few companies’s, in our field to operate our own in house design team which guarantees accuracy and short lead times.

Environmental
Plastico takes its ecological responsibility very seriously. We are dedicated to researching and promoting the most efficient methods of production and to using materials that are non toxic and eco-friendly. Keen to be at the cutting edge of developing Biodegradable materials and processes, we are working with a leading British university to produce oxo-degradeable plastics. We can now produce and supply a complete range of products that are totally biodegradable. When the items are land filled the plastic is consumed by normal bacteria and fungi. This process does not emit harmful residues and the products can also be recycled if required. This process is very safe and adds only a small supplement to the price. Ordering and Delivery
Plastico can meet the most simple or complex requirements with our infrastructure and expertise. We take it as read that our customers require us to deliver goods 100% complete and on time. We can also receive SAP data and study this to ensure that your demands are forecast correctly. Any fluctuation in sales is noted and acted upon, stock in your system, whether at DC and or site/shop, is monitored so that we can ensure that you have the optimum stock in your system. All of this data is then relayed to our Operations and Production team so that we can replenish our stocks accordingly. We can arrange storage and delivery to meet individual needs both in this country and abroad and are fully conversant with current legislation, tarifs, duties.

Sourcing
Sourcing is a large and important part of Plastico’s business. All the raw materials used in production have to be purchased and specified. This includes polymers of various types and grades, cartons, bags and films. This buying power and expertise allows us to consider each new product and to either source it from one of our partner suppliers worldwide or to make it in one of our plants. In each case the volumes, specification, costs and lead times will be studied to provide you, our customer with the BEST solution.
