Firstly, lets briefly explain the two main types of machinery we supply, and how
they will benefit your business.
The two main types of form fill and seal are:-
Vertical form fill seal
This type of machine is used to pack loose items such as crisps, snacks,
hardware in fact most loose items. Our machinery offers a variety of pack
presentations and pack sizes – please contact us to see if our machines can save
you money AND improve your presentation.
Horizontal form fill seal
These machines are also known as Flow Wrappers, Flowrap or flow wrap packaging
machines. These are used for ‘solid’ items such as bakery items, morning goods,
paint brushes, onions, apples, crisp multipacks etc.
It’s all very confusing!
Many customers who are new to this can find selecting the right machinery
confusing and expensive! This is where we help. Our machinery is versatile,
reliable, practical and inexpensive.
The one-stop-shop is a well worn cliché now, but this is a service that Basic offers all customers. If you need other equipment around your
packaging machines (conveyor, product counter etc) we offer assistance to help
you choose the right one – even if you are not buying it from us (and even if
it’s second hand).
