options rather than simply repeating noise assessments that usually include
little or no information on the topic. Our innovative noise and vibration
control techniques can reduce costs by 50% - 80% compared with noise enclosures
- and can even make noise control self-financing by improving productivity.

Noise Assessment - Noise Assessment Automation
The INVC Noise Assessment report is the industry benchmark. It provides a
programme of action that details "best practice" to meet all the requirements of
the regulations. Our noise assessments also include a Noise Control Audit that
provides you with costed noise control options based on the best of current
technology. We have also introduced innovations in noise assessment best
practice such as the Digital Noise Assessment - template noise assessment
documentation that automates the process and can cut costs by an order of
magnitude.
HAV Assessment - never measure vibration again...
 In addition to carrying out field hand-arm vibration assessments, our vibration
database is the largest collection of accurate field vibration data available.
We use this information to reduce the time, costs and resources required to
carry out high quality risk assessments by 80% or more. This approach is also in
keeping with the current HSE recommendation to use published data wherever
possible.

Noise and vibration control are very closely related when considering low cost
alternatives to noise enclosures. Examples range from vibration control on
mowers (HAV levels reduced from 6m/s^2 down to 1 - 2m/s^2) to pipe vibration
damping using dynamic vibration absorbers and noise control on large machines.
Noise Training Courses
The INVC is the IOSH approved noise training organisation - and the largest
provider of noise competency training in the UK and Ireland. We run a range of
noise courses for IOSH and other organisations as well as customised in-house
versions for major companies across a wide range of industries.
