Monowa Limited is a
Manufacturer of Operable Wall Systems based in the UK. With a Head
Office based in Hertfordshire and our factory based in Cheshire, the
company is advantageously placed to cover the whole of the UK.

What We Offer: |

With four key products,
Monowa offers a Series 100, 75, 50 and 10, the most popular and
widely used of the four being the Series 100. The Series 100
provides a number of key advantages as an Operable system, with the
acoustic values of the product being a key point to note. The Series
75 has the option of being floor supported, where no substantial
ceiling support is evident, again providing a convenient solution to
the venue. Monowa’s Series 50, a vinyl partition, offers a more
informal solution for a venue where acoustic values are not of
utmost importance, and finally the Series 10 is a frameless glass
wall providing the obvious advantage of a transparent partition.
To further enhance the product range, Monowa offers a range of
additional modifications and extras, and a wide offering of colours
and finishes, giving even further allowance for the venue to have a
wall system that fits in seamlessly with the surroundings and
flavour of the business. Whether it’s making a statement, or making
a subtle addition, the sky really is the limit when it comes to
satisfying practical and aesthetic requirements.
Monowa’s impressive portfolio boasts an array of projects including
offices, hotels, theatres, schools, conference centres and churches
to name a few. Previous projects have included the Bristol Museum,
University of Manchester, Kensington Neighbourhood Centre and the
Salford City Stadium.
Every stage of
implementation is fully undertaken including the design, manufacture
and installation of moveable walls, vinyl concertina partitions,
folding walls and frameless glass wall products. A UK Market Leader,

main contractors, as well as ceiling and partitioning companies. |

The company boasts an
impressive ‘academic’ CV with many accreditations, including ISO
14001 Environmental Management, ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management,
CHAS, Constructionline and SAFEcontractor, confirming Monowa’s
adherence to strict quality, environmental and health & safety
standards. A member of the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS),
Monowa proves to remain at the pinnacle of the industry.
Managing Director Catherine Whelan heads up a team of 25, with staff
members bringing an array of industry experience from sector’s
including Manufacturing, Project Management, Sales and Marketing.
Catherine acknowledges ‘I am very proud of the knowledgeable team we
have built up at Monowa, both in our Southern and Northern bases,
and am delighted to be able to offer such a convenient and in-depth
service to businesses within many industries.’
The Monowa story of development continues, with 2011 seeing another
record year for the company. Adding Servicing to the portfolio, the
team now look after the maintenance of the product, assisting with
the longevity of an Operable Wall System.
Wishing to stay ahead of the game within the industry, Monowa are

further enhance and improve the existing systems. The team continue
to investigate areas including finishes, colour expansions, fitting
methods and acoustic testing.
At the beginning of 2012, Monowa also increased its PR activity.
