Biopac
harness state-of-the-art technology to develop biodegradable and compostable
alternatives to petrochemical based plastics and polystyrene. From carrier bags
to cling film, cutlery to cups, medical trays to plant pots, we're at the front
line in the crucial crusade against non-degradable plastics.
Biopac was formed in 2002 when a group of
like-minded, forward thinking people
united by their passion
for the environment got together to develop environmentally responsible
alternatives to conventional packaging products.
Based in the lee of the beautiful Malvern Hills, we are at the forefront of
materials innovation, developing an ever-expanding range of sustainable products
to help lighten humanity's footprint.
With
150 million plastic bags ending up in landfill sites every week and the UK
generating enough rubbish to fill the Albert Hall every hour, it's vital that a
clean, composting alternative is found to oil-based plastics, and found quickly.
That's where we come in. We're motivated, passionate and professional - and
we're on a mission. |
