Processing Capabilities
Here at CMUK we have more processing capacity under one roof than is currently available anywhere else in the UK. This coupled with our strength and breadth of inventory makes CMUK a truly world-class option for all of our customers.

Laser
Laser cutting is a fast and accurate profile cutting method which offers a high quality surface finish. The laser complements our goal to supply our customers with close to Nett size pieces with tolerances of + / - 0.25mm.

Water-jet
A tolerance of + / - 0.1mm and no heat affected zone are major benefits of our water-jet. The latest in water-jet pressure technology and multi-head operation allows us to process small or large pieces quickly and cost-effectively.

Sawing
Bar, pipe and tube up to 500mm diameter are cut on fast lead times. Modern saws guarantee clean cut and close tolerances. We cut to + / -0.25mm saving material and providing our customers with less excess material.

Plasma
Large area plasma beds allow us to increase productivity and reduce costs. Large capacity beds allow fast lead times.

Hi-definition plasma
With tolerances + / - 0.5mm hi-definition plasma gets plate close to nett size fast and competitively. With far smaller kerf losses we can produce more components per plate saving you money and machining time.
