In 2002, Maxell Moulding Services was created at our Telford manufacturing site, for the specific purpose of offering outsource moulding capacity to unrelated industries.
Due to decreasing demand for our own brand audio/video cassette products the company opened up it's plastic moulding facilities to the outside manufacturing community.

The Telford factory, originally opened in 1984 as an exclusive recording media production facility for which almost all component parts were manufactured on site. With a plastic injection moulding capacity of 35 machines ranging from 20T – 450T clamp force and `clean room` facilities, Maxell can offer specialist moulding capability for almost any plastic product up to 1.5 kilos `shot weight` for a diverse range of industries and applications.

No job is too big or too small for Maxell. We will produce runs of as little as a few thousand pieces up to hundreds of thousands, utilising automation wherever possible to keep operator cost to a minimum and remain competitive.
