LED
Spot Lights for Home and Living Areas
The
quality of lighting in a home, a restaurant, a hotel room or any other area
where we might want to relax, is absolutely fundamental to the overall ambience
of the environment and our enjoyment of it. Equally, in a kitchen or study it is
important that plenty of light is available. Kudos is able to provide replacement
LED Spot Lights
and GU10 Led Lamps that really do fulfil these requirements – and we are often
able to do it by simply replacing conventional bulbs.
Here is an example of a typical conversion:
The original installation comprised ten Halogen 240 volt GU10 Lamps 50w spot lights in
a kitchen, with a further eight 12 volt MR16 50w spot lights in the adjoining
breakfast room. The total power consumption with all lamps lit was 900w.
Kudos replaced all eighteen of these 50w spot lights with LightPlanet 7w High
Power spot lights, reducing power consumption to just 126w – a staggering
reduction of 774w. Incredibly, light levels and quality and colour of light were
not affected.
Incandescent light bulbs are being phased out and the replacement compact
fluorescent bulbs are slow to light, they look ugly, produce harsh unpleasant
light and contain harmful Mercury. LightPlanet now offer a far superior
solution. The LightPlanet EQ60 bulb lights instantly to full power, uses 50%
less power than the fluorescent equivalent and produces warm, flicker-free
