Label Source is a supplier of a
comprehensive range of identification marking products. The main
product categories are; labels; nameplates; fascias; decals; badges;
signs; notices; tags; and tapes.
The company was formed in 1994 to provide cost effective print
solutions, together with providing ranges of standard products from
stock, to UK, EU and International standards and regulations.
Label Source utilises many print processes, and the most appropriate
process is chosen to meet customer design and performance
requirements. This allows for cost effective solutions to be
selected. These print processes include; hot foil; screen; thermal;
ano-printing; digital; and flexographic; vinyl graphics letter
cutting; engraving; and chemical etching. |

Labelling products |
|
Labelling products are used in a wide
variety of applications. Some major printed label identity
categories are electrical and PAT test, calibration, inspection,
quality assurance, maintenance, equipment and CE marking, cable
marking, asset, warranty and inventory security including serial
numbered and bar-coded labels, hazard warning diamonds, GHS and UN
labels, warehouse, shipping and packaging. Labels can be supplied in
roll, or sheet layout. In addition, plain label stock can be
supplied for customer in-house printing by thermal, laser or inkjet
printers.
Industrial, bespoke labels can be supplied to meet many difficult
conditions, including adhering to low energy or irregular surfaces,
waterproof, UV resistant, chemical resistant, fluorescent,
reflective and high or low operating temperatures. Materials include
self adhesive vinyl, self adhesive polyester, tamper proof vinyl,
tamper evident polyester, aluminium foil and resin dome.
Nameplates are provided in both metals and plastics, and can be
supplied with adhesive or drill holes for fitting. These can be
printed (surface or sub-surface), etched and colour filled,
engraved, or stamped with information. These nameplates are suitable
for marking equipment, transport, and storage in some difficult
operating conditions.
Nameplates can be made from anodised aluminium, stainless steel,
brass, polycarbonate, traffolite, and external grade plastic
laminates. |

Signage |
|
Signage covers health and safety,
including hazard warning, prohibition, mandatory, safe conditions,
first aid and fire equipment. In addition, there are specialised
ranges for asbestos, radiation, photovoltaic, hand vibration, water
safety and confined spaces.
Other sign products cover COSHH, chemical hazards, CCTV and building
security, warehouse aisles and racking, road and site traffic, door
plates, desk plates, directional, Braille and tactile, statutory
notices and posters.
Common sign materials include self adhesive vinyl, rigid plastics,
metal alloys, polycarbonate, photoluminescent, reflective, and
metals such as stainless steel and aluminium. Signs can be wall
mounted, post mounted, projecting and suspended suitable for
internal and external use. |

Tags & Tape |
|
Tags can be produced for product, valve
and equipment marking, and can be blank or printed. Materials
include anodised aluminium, soft faced aluminium, stainless steel
(including marine grade), mild steel, tinplate, brass, PVC,
polycarbonate, indoor and outdoor laminates.
Tapes are available for floor marking, safety and housekeeping (OHSA),
packaging, quality assurance, barrier tapes for cordoning off areas
including police, fire and security products, underground and
detectable tapes for identifying utility cabling and pipes, flagging
tapes for surveying, plastic barrier mesh for safeguarding
excavations and work sites, and pipeline identification colour
coding content tapes. These tapes can be adhesive or non adhesive.
Other products include label holders, document pockets, sign frames
and post fittings, thermoplastic markers, line marking paint,
stencils, glow sticks, security passes, car park permits, pocket
guides, posters and barriers.
