Hard Anodising Ltd Awarded NADCAP Accreditation for Chemical
Processing
Hard anodising and Electroless nickel plating together are extremely cost
effective means of upgrading the performance of most metallic surfaces under
arduous conditions.
Hard
Anodising Ltd offer expert services in hard anodising, high quality
decorative anodising and chromic acid anodising as well as Electroless nickel
plating and conversion plating. Their advanced electrolytic and chemical
coatings are proven to enhance material or component performance, functionality
and efficiency whilst offering increased corrosion resistance characteristics.
Hardness, corrosion and wear resistance properties are superior to that of most
stainless steels whilst plating hardness of enp can be increased to 900-1100VHN
100 (60-70 Rockwell) by heat treatment. Worn or incorrectly machined components
can often be recovered or refurbished to approved international Quality
Standards.
Runs
may be from single prototypes upwards with same day turnaround times fast
becoming the norm. Metals that can be processed include aluminium, steel,
stainless steel, copper, brass, titanium and nickel.
The company has many years experience in working for the specialist Automotive,
Aerospace, Medical and Defence Industries as well as for customers making high
quality products for various demanding industrial applications.
In
conjunction with ISO 9001 and ISO14001 and AS 9100, for which the company
achieved an outstanding 100% success, the recent NADCAP accreditation will
enable us to work for other prime aerospace and defence contractors.
We have recently published a new Designers Guide for specifiers wishing to know
the optimum design characteristics of components to be anodised. The Guide
contains a wide range of detailed process specifications making it essential
reading for designers and technical specifiers throughout the manufacturing
industries.
Call us in on your next project or ask for our Designers Guide.
It’s a small price for peace of mind.
