C5000
High Performance Contact Adhesive is a cream coloured,
brushable, general purpose contact adhesive. It exhibits
excellent adhesion to most surfaces and has good heat
resistance. Bonds may be made over a wide range of open times
because of its’ fast flash off and long open time. 'Non-soak-in'
properties make it particularly suitable for edge bonding. C5000
is used extensively for automotive trim application, bonding
decorative laminates to wood and wood composites in the kitchen
furniture industry, and generally for bonding plastics (not
expanded polystyrene or plasticised PVC), metals, leather,
rubbers and urethane foams.
C5004 Two Part Waterproof
Contact for use where water resistance is required in
applications such as inflatable, life-rafts, wet suits,
life-jackets etc – C5004 is not suitable for use with
plasticised P.V.C.
C5005 can be used to bond a
wide variety of substrates including leather, wood, plastics,
textiles and metals. It can also be used to bond flexible PVC
and has good chemical and temperature resistance.
C5006 Adhesive is a
Sprayable contact adhesive especially suitable for bonding
substrates such as high pressure laminates to chipboard or
m.d.f. C5006 Adhesive can also be reactivated making it ideal
for post forming applications.
C5008 is a readily
brushable, fast drying, high performance contact adhesive.
Although specifically designed for automotive trim bonding
applications where high heat resistance is required, it is a
versatile product and can be used for the bonding of decorative
laminates to wood and wood composites, the bonding of insulation
materials to metal and for bonding miscellaneous rubbers and
plastics both to each other and to other substrates. In the
automotive industry it is used for bonding PVC leather-cloth,
leather and fabrics to painted/primed steel or to polyurethane
foam, for bonding rubber door seals and for bonding sound
deadening materials to door, roof, bonnet and boot panels. In
commercial vehicles it can be used for bonding rubber or carpet
type flooring materials and also decorative laminates. C5008 has
a considerably higher heat resistance than normal single-part
contact adhesives without the excessively short open time which
is usually associated with higher performance products.
C6003 is a high solids,
non-flammable, low pressure Sprayable, synthetic rubber based
adhesive designed primarily for applications in the foam
conversion, upholstery and furniture industry. C6003 exhibits
fast drying characteristics, aggressive tack, a long bonding
range, high bond strengths and provides an economical and
efficient means of bonding non-structural components. As well as
being suitable for bonding flexible foams to each other C6003 is
also recommended for bonding foam to metal, chipboard, hardboard
and GRP etc., and for the attachment of furnishing fabrics such
as hessian, felt, polyester and other upholstery padding
materials. It can also be used for bonding a wide range of
insulation materials to metal ducting etc. * It is not suitable
for use with flexible PVC.
C6004 is a high tack version
of C6003 with high solids. It is a non-flammable, low pressure
Sprayable, synthetic rubber based adhesive designed primarily
for applications in the foam conversion, upholstery and
furniture industry. C6004 exhibits fast drying characteristics,
aggressive tack, a long bonding range, high bond strengths and
provides an economical and efficient means of bonding
non-structural components. As well as being suitable for bonding
flexible foams to each other C6004 is also recommended for
bonding foam to metal, chipboard, hardboard and GRP etc., and
for the attachment of furnishing fabrics such as hessian, felt,
polyester and other upholstery padding materials. It can also be
used for bonding a wide range of insulation materials to metal
ducting etc. * It is not suitable for use with flexible PVC. The
price is for 5 litres
C6006 Bondrite C6006 is a
Genklene free, cream coloured, non-flammable, brushable multi
purpose high performance contact adhesive. It is clean to use
and is particularly recommended for bonding rigid plastic
laminates (e.g. 'Formica') to wood or wood composites.
Polychloroprene (Neoprene) is also a flame retardant rubber. It
has versatile properties and is also suited to making permanent
contact bonds between materials such as rigid PVC, PVC
leather-cloth, GRP, polyurethane foam, rubber sheet and
extrusions, all of which may be bonded to each other or to
hardboard, chipboard, plywood and painted or unpainted metal.
