We manufacture a wide range of foil bags and foil packaging formats suitable for Corrosion Prevention and Dry Product protection including 2 & 3 dimensional bags, corrugated box liners, F.I.B.C. liners, Round bottom drum liners, Octabin liners, plain pouches, zipper pouches, 25kg sacks and ISO Container liners.

Barrier foil bags provide the lowest know water vapour and oxygen transmission rates. Industrial polythene lets water vapour and aggressive gasses seep through, allowing deterioration of product to occur, but this can be eliminated with the use of barrier foil. Packaging costs are reduced because the amount of desiccant used is reduced dramatically when compared with polythene, and in some instances there may also be a reduction in shipping costs due to the reduction in overall weight.

• Heat Sealing Equipment - we offer a range of heat sealing equipment for use with foils and thermoplastics. From the small user up to large scale manufacturing operations.
  
• Case Lining - cross woven lining material, 100% waterproof and tear resistant, an ideal alternative for materials such as Kraft union or roofing felt.
  
• Self Adhesive Cushioning - adheres directly to rough sawn timber, plywood and cartons to provide a firm cushion between the packing case and its contents.
  
• Skidmate Pallet Cushions - designed to replace pallet runners to avoid problems caused by shock and vibration.
  
• Humidity Indicators - to monitor the humidity levels within the barrier foil bag.
  
• Shockwatch & Tiltwatch Indicators - detect mishandling or damage during transit and promote careful handling at all times.

Protective Packaging manufacture a wide range of Foil Liners, Moisture Barrier Bags and Foil Bags for protection of powders and granules in the form of:-

Round bottom drum liners - available in a wide range of diameters. By using liners drums can be re-used or recycled as clean waste and in some instances downgraded from steel to fibreboard. The round bottom design fits the exact shape of the drum and eliminates any waste

Octabin liners - offer an economical method of shipping bulk granules or flakes. We offer a wide range of custom made liners to suit any size of container go give total protection for the contents

F.I.B.C. liners - An F.I.B.C combined with a foil liner can be used to pack products which previously had to be shipped in sealed containers such as steel, plastic or fibreboard drums Not only does the liner offer a material cost saving over drums but shipping space efficiency can be improved by up to 40%

HD corrugated box liners - for any moisture sensitive item. Custom made and available in different material combinations.

25kg gusseted and vented sacks - comprise of barrier foil with extra strength and thickness providing the ultimate water vapour and oxygen barrier. A one-way de-gassing valve can be fitted to allow air extraction, pressure equalisation and better palletisation.

Valve filling sacks - are available as an alternative to polyethylene and paper valve sacks for the more specialised product. With no minimum order quantity and very short lead times, these total barrier sacks are available when you need them and in quantities to match the shorter manufacturing runs of more specialised product.

ISO container liner - tailor made 20’, 30’ and 40’ container liners made from aluminium foil laminate. We manufacture the bulkhead, filling / discharge and venting features to suit individual specification.

All foil bags and liners are tailor-made to suit the dimensions and style of the outer packaging. There is no limitation on size and no minimum order quantity.
