FANUC has added a new 3kg payload parallel link robot to its high-speed Genkotsu Series. The FANUC M-2iA fills a gap between the existing 1kg and 6kg arms providing a large work envelope, with high throughput performance for mid-range assembly and handling tasks.
Coventry based manufacturing automation business FANUC UK has been presented with a prestigious award by training business Midland Group Training Services Limited (MGTS). Supported by the Skills Funding Agency, a partner organisation of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), MGTS presents the award annually to businesses that have illustrated a sustained commitment and loyalty to the apprentice programme.
Investment in two new six axes robots has helped Certwood Limited to become a competitive option to offshore trade moulders. Increased accuracy, flexibility and the innovative application of two FANUC M-10iA robots are retaining large contracts in the UK.
A FANUC M-1iA Delta Arm robot has recently been commissioned on a bottling line at the Guadalix, Spain, facility of pharmaceutical manufacturer Merck. Placing dispenser caps onto bottled allergy medications, the M-1ia is capable of operating at 120 cycles per minute.
