the world, a large proportion are in the UK/Ireland, although European
installations are growing fast.

Laser Marking
For clients with low to medium volume production, ES Technology operates
a job shop offering a high quality contract engraving service for permanently
marking flat, cylindrical and irregular surfaces of most materials. Equipped
with the very latest in laser engraving equipment, which can generate a wide
range of alpha numeric character fonts and sizes or using customer supplied CAD
or graphic computer files.
Laser Machines
Concept Laser manufactures Rapid Manufacturing systems for building parts
and tools in solid metals directly from 3D CAD designs. ES Technology Ltd is the
exclusive distributor for the UK / Ireland.
Universal Laser Systems Inc. manufactures computer controlled laser
engraving, laser cutting and laser marking machines which are compact and
affordable. Fitted with CO2 lasers, these systems are suitable for cutting wood,
plastic, fabric, paper, glass, leather, stone, ceramic, rubber….as well as
marking a wide range of materials.
Optical Components
Crystal Technology Inc. provides Lithium Niobate substrates for use in a
range of laser related applications including Acousto-Optic Modulators,
Deflectors and Tunable Filters.
DILAS, the diode laser company, supplies diode stacks, line sources and
diode laser systems for applications from pumping of laser sources to direct
material processing.
The Lasermetrics Division of FastPulse Technology supplies Electro-Optic
Modulators, Pockels Cells, Q-switches and laser pulse pickers for a wide range
of research and industrial applications.
Hoffman Materials accurately and efficiently cut and process a wide range
of materials, including Quartz, Silicon, Sapphire, Ruby, Lithium Tantalate,
Lithium Niobates, as well as other emerging and less well known materials.
