Finance Process
Most of the finance process can be handled by a combination of telephone, email
or fax. However, all customers are welcome to visit Portman at their head office

There are no limitations on the sectors Portman can provide leasing to. Certain
UK finance companies will not finance equipment for niche or businesses
considered non-core. Portman have recently provided finance to a number of these

Case Study
Portman’s preferred method of finance involves the provision of turnkey lease

had one designated point of contact for all his finance requirements and Portman
had comfort in understanding their customer’s monthly outgoings. Finance was
arranged over a three year period with a 10% deposit from the customer.

for straightforward background/supporting information. Usual requirements
include: business plan, financial projections, C.V and personal bank statements.

equipment suppliers from any industry to assist with the project. All supplier
recommendations of this type are fully approved Portman suppliers. This is a

also able to price check equipment on behalf of customers to ensure they are not
overpaying for their equipment. The large volumes of transactions processed on a
daily basis mean this process is quick and highly valuable.
